Why is this happening
All across the land
There is snow falling
Oh man this is bad
We thought it was over
We thought it was through
Never did we think so see
The snow again so soon
For the small rivers have frozen
From the once melting snow
As the snow wails down
Forming new and icy mounds
Why couldn't it stay
Away for a while
So we could enjoy summer
Right here and now
For the sun was shining
And the trees were growing
While the world seemed to be melting
Into wet and soggy grass
I really like this piece. It totally gave me a visual of the season changing from winter into spring where to grass gets soggy and gross. Wisconsin weather is interesting and unpredictable and I really like this piece.
